Kanina I attended the
iblog4 Summit in
UP Diliman with Gelo. I'm suppose to go there with Kaye (my co-ojt) kaso due to personal but exciting reasons eh she decided to back-out. Buti na lng ka-chat ko nun si Gelo and he willingly accepted my invitation. Thanks man!
The whole talk of this conference is all about blogs and more blogs and lots of blogs. The speakers were famous bloggers like Janette Toral, Noemi Dado, Aileen Apolo, Manuel L. Quezon III and Charo Nuguid to name a few and the infamous Brian Gorell (though he wasn't actually there, only a video of him. Well at least I saw him upclose, thanks to the big screen.)
A lot of the topics had caught my ears and attention:
First: From Student to ProBloggers
The speaker was Karlo Licudin. He is a young problogger and a newly graduate of Computer Engineering. He maintains 15 blogs if I'm not mistaken. And at his age of 21, oh my gulay, he's now earning a grand a month. What a profile! I cannot imagine how blogging would make one rich but I can almost imagine myself, in less than 2 years I'll be 21 and will still be earning nothing from blogging. Well that's a known fact! haha.. Problogging by the way is where one sets out to earn money from blogs. Visit one of his blogs at
pinoyblogero.comSecond: Photoblogging By: Juned Sunido
This man is obviously a photoblogger, and grabe he brought with him kanina all of the gadgets he uses. He has DSLR (3 ata yun), a TLR, a fisheye (super astig!), also his digicam and cellphone. I could also afford those in my dreams..haha..Try also visting some of his blogs on
baratillo.net and
ultralightdelight.com Everyone can actually start doing photoblogs even if one has pangit na cameras. Why not?!! by all means, one can! Sabi nga ni Juned "It is the Indians not the bow."
Third: The rest. There's,

Ria JoseThere's a lot of things in blogging aside from the usual thing we know and do. It takes years of experience that these speakers in iblog4 spent to really master the craft of blogging. Of course they too started from online diaries only, but there's more to it, that only if we care to learn and discover..maybe someday one of us would be seen giving a share in another iblog summit. in my case count 20 years from now..haha, super tagal pa..
